Management Team

Arif Alharmi is Chief Executive Officer of Amlak Finance PJSC, since May 2007. In addition to his current role, Arif also serves as Member on the Board of Directors of a number of local and regional companies.

Arif brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience having served in leadership roles at leading international and domestic financial institutions such as HSBC, ABN AMRO and Dubai Islamic Bank.

For his business achievements, Arif was awarded the prestigious ‘CEO Middle East Award’ in the Home Finance category by ITP-CEO Middle East.

Arif holds a Masters degree in International Business.

Max Hamidi is CFO, Executive Vice President, Finance & Treasury and Corporate Investments, of Amlak Finance PJSC, since November 2007. He is Member of the Board of Directors of a number of subsidiary and associate companies of Amlak.

Max brings more than 18 years of rich international experience in Finance and Banking industry to Amlak in senior positions in KPMG (Audit and Advisory) and Royal Vopak in Dubai, and previously the Royal Bank of Scotland and National Westminster Bank in the City of London, England.

Max is a professionally UK qualified, Corporate Treasurer (ACT) and a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Middlesex University London. 

Adnan Edris Al Awadhi is Executive Vice President and Business Head of Amlak Finance PJSC, since March 2008. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of Amlak’s regional subsidiaries.

Adnan brings more than 12 years of banking and financial experience to Amlak. He was responsible for Group Operations & Services and operations integration for Emirates NBD merger. He served at various senior positions with National Bank of Dubai for several years prior to that assignment.

Adnan is a Business Administration Graduate specialized in Banking & Finance from the University of Denver, USA.

Narendra Gajria is Executive Vice President, Operations and Corporate Services of Amlak Finance PJSC, since November 2011.

He brings to Amlak extensive experience of over 36 years in the global financial sector with Al Mal Capital as Managing Director and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as Corporate Executive Director, holding senior executive positions as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Narendra holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hull, UK. He is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, Information Security Manager and Information System Auditor from The Information Systems Audit and Control Association, USA; ACSI from Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, UK; and Associate Financial Accountant from the Institute of Financial Accounts, UK.
